Inlaid overall with ebony and boxwood lines, the shaped rectangular top above a frieze-drawer and an arched and concave-fronted drawer, flanked to one side with a cellaret drawer and to the other with two baize-lined drawers, on square tapering legs and spade feet, the frieze-drawer relined, previously with a gallery, the locks stamped 'BARRON PATENT 9.R', below a coronet, the inlay possibly later
