The tapering case with fruiting swag mount to the fore and surmounted by an urn finial, with female bust headed columns to the sides supporting further urn finials, the base cast with raised lanceolate designs and with a winged cherub mask mount, the Roman dial with retail signature HOWELL JAMES & CO. TO THE QUEEN, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 15½in. (38.5cm.) high
