A DUTCH MAHOGANY CHEQUER INLAID AND MARQUETRY SIDE CUPBOARD OR GENTLEMAN'S WARDROBE, LATE 18TH CENTURY
The upper part with pierced Vitruvian scroll cornice centred by a panel with a bowl of flowers and tassel hung inlay, fitted with shelves, containing three drawers below, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, inlaid with lozenge panels with bowls of flowers and foliate, the chequer borders with foliate roundel inlay, the lower part containing three long drawers, between crossbanded and feather-strung stiles, on bracket feet
