In the Louis XVI style, with projecting and rounded corners and hinged top with tulipwood and crossbanded trellis panel within a foliate scroll border enclosing a fitted rosewood interior with a mirror to the reverse with foliate scroll inlaid frieze on fluted tapered legs joined by curved X-stretcher below with gilt metal urn finial terminating in sabots
