carved continuously in relief with the seven sages of the sea holding fish, double gourds, mallets and fans with waves, the reverse carved with a building, waves, bands of shells and flowering trees, metal mount, standing on a carved and pierced hardwood stand decorated with scrolling foliage, adapted for electricity -- the tusk 15½in. (39.3cm.) high.
