With nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, the silvered matt dial with applied silvered Arabic and triangular numerals, outer ring calibrated for date with central blued steel date hand, windows for day and month, subsidiary dial indicating constant seconds combined with phases of the moon, in a large circular case with calendar correctors in the band, downturned lugs, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

It is believed that this model, reference 8171, was produced in 1000 examples between 1949 and 1952, the majority of which were cased in yellow gold. Examples in stainless steel are very rare.
