A SILVER CRUET STAND WITH BLUE GLASS BOTTLES

The rectangular tray with cut corners, on four lions paw feet, the bracket with repoussé and chased sphynx mask roundel with harpi supporters, the sides with floral and arabesque decoration and foliate upper rim and plain silver cover on a wood carcass, with two partly fluted and beaded, foliate scroll handles, applied with four cylindrical pierced bottle-holders decorated with dancing female figures, each in floral arch and foliate column on a floral scroll and beaded border, each with curved band supporting the central pierced floral and arbesque holder, containing two silver-mounted bottles with cylindrical reeded mounts, concave necks and pierced pineapple detachable covers, two similarly mounted flasks with reeded rims and scroll bracket handles, and one mustard jar with plain bud finial all of swirling blue cut-glass, fully marked
