The tray marked John Tuite, London, 1731; the snuffer marked IB, London, 1781
The tray of shaped oblong form with incurved centers with an open scroll handle, engraved with a crest, and resting on four upscrolled feet, marked underneath; the snuffer, of scissor form, with beaded openwork handles and bright-cut decoration, with steel rod, marked on the inside and outside of the extinguisher compartment.
The tray, 7in. (17.5cm.) long; gross weight 9oz. (2)
