The padded rectangular back, slightly outscrolled arms and trapezoidal seat upholstered in textured green satin, each downswept arm support acanthus-carved and with rosette terminal, the front cabriole legs headed by acanthus clasps and voluted angles above claw-and-ball feet, the rear cabriole legs with pad feet, on sunken brass casters stamped JC&S, stamped with the cipher HB
