A REGENCY MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE-CABINET
Attributed to Gillows, circa 1810
The arched cornice with Greek-key raised panelling above two Gothic arched glazed doors enclosing three shelves, the base with a fall-front drawer with similar Greek-key raised panelling enclosing an interior fitted with pigeonholes flanked to either side by four short drawers, above three graduated long drawers with brass lion mask and ring backplates, over a waved apron on splayed feet, the lower section with boxwood banding
