The domed cover finely painted with a shoulder-length portrait of a long-haired beauty in white shift and pink shawl, within a gilt seaded cartouche, the border enamelled with graduated turquoise 'jewels' on a gold embossed ground, the edge with a band of scrollwork, on conforming base
