Cast from models by Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, Circa 1880
Comprising a clock and pair of six-light candelabra, the clock modelled as a pair of putti supporting the globe-shaped case, the twin-train movement stamped VINCENTI & CIE/MEDAILLE D'ARGENT/1855, the naturalistic base inscribed A. CARRIER, on a black marble plinth applied with acanthus and laurel garlands, on bracket feet, the candelabra modelled as a pair of cherubs supporting a central fluted stem issuing acanthus-sheathed branches, on conforming plinth and feet
