Chancery 2o (289 x 202 mm). Collation: [1-1810 198 20-2210 23-248 25-4110] blank, table, 1/2r text, part one, feria secunda,r colophon,v blank). 404 leaves. 52 lines, double column. Type: 2:75G. 2-, 6- and 10-line initial spaces. Large initials in blue with red, pink or green decoration, 2-line initials and paragraph marks in red, manuscript guide-letters and catchwords, 2 sets of foliation, one beginning on f. 174, manuscript quiring occasionally visible. (First leaf partly detached and with repaired tears and slight worming affecting a few letters, occasional light spotting.)
Binding: contemporary binding of wooden boards bevelled on inner edges, slightly mismatched, one presumably re-used from an earlier binding, rear board covered with deerskin (worn), evidence of four clasps, front board bare and with evidence of two fore-edge clasps, originally backed with calf, rebacked twice successively with paper and vellum, title and shelfmark lettered on spine (worn, some worming).
