Painted with a central flower vase on a veranda enclosing flowering peony and chrysanthemum, surrounded by three shaped cartouches to the well and broad rim enclosing two cranes amidst bamboo and peony, a carp swimming up a waterfall or a shishi amidst peony, all reserved on a washed-blue ground with peony-heads and scrollwork
