Modelled seated on its haunches, its tail curled against its back, with open mouth, ears in alert position and wearing a bell suspended from a collar tied around the neck, decorated overall with uneven patches of iron-red, black and brown enamels and gilt and blue eyes, one leg restored, tongue chipped
