A 'Nanking cargo' blue-glazed figure of a seated boy and seven birds
Mid 18th Century
Seated with bent knees and raised arms, dressed in an apron knotted around the waist and washed in pale underglaze-blue, his smiling face modelled with two bangs of knotted hair, 11.5 cm. high; and seven small white-glazed models of a bird perched with wings folded on a high pierced rockwork plinth, circa 7 cm. high, damages (8)
