The triangular shaped stele carved in deep relief with the mythical bird Garuda, standing with both claws on the snake, his legs carved with dots simulating feathers, his naked upper body bejewelled, both winged arms raised, his face with bulging eyes, beak and crown set in front of a conical-shaped chignon

Acquired in Cambodia in the mid-1920's by the present owner's grandfather
