the moulded cornice above a central rectangular blackboard flanked by slides with various mother-of-pearl inlaid discs and markers, above numerical score slides, and a series of long and short fall flaps with brass drop handles enclosing ball storage compartments, on three baluster turned legs with curved moulded stretchers, and two square section back legs - 112.5cm. wide

This billiards scoreboard was made for Marshcourt, Stockbridge in Hampshire. Marshcourt was a sumptuous house and garden designed and built by Sir Edwin Lutyens for Herbert Johnson in 1901-1904.
