Historated woodcut title border and full-page woodcut illustration of "Iusticia," "Pax" and "Liberalitas" (with a small view of Nuremberg in the background) signed M.S., woodcut double-page genealogical tree. (Light worming to i1-dd6, few marginal tears or repairs, clean tear to fold of genealogical tree.) Contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, brass clasps, catches and corner pieces (one catch becoming loose). Provenance: Zum Königlich bayrischen ... gericht Amberg gehörig (18th- or 19th-century ownership inscription on front paste-down); armorial ink stamp (on front fly-leaf); early ink notation (on front fly-leaf and on some leaves between A1 and E1).
