NEW KINGDOM, CIRCA 1500-1200 B.C.
Comprising bright turquoise blue cylindrical 'mummy' beads threaded with two divine bust amulets; another, threaded in a geometric design; another, four stranded necklace with attached shabti; another similar, double stranded, 19 in. (48.3 cm.) long max.; a large beaded net, 21 in. (53.5 cm.) long approx. all New Kingdom, circa 1500-1200 B.C.; three inscribed shabtis, one in two halves, all Third Intermediate Period (1069-656 B.C.), 4 in. (10 cm.) high max.; two inscribed sherds, Graeco-Roman/early Coptic Period; and a gesso-painted cartonnage fragment of a figure kneeling before a shrine bearing apis bull and censer, 11 in. (28 cm.) high(a lot)

Acquired circa 1870s by the grandfather of the present owner.
