With small rounded rim at mouth, the body gently tapered towards base, repaired, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; and an Egyptian-style black stone head of a pharaoh, bearing the likeness of Ramesses II (1292-1250 B.C.), wearing a War Crown with uraeus on his forehead, mounted, 7½ in. (19 cm.) high (2)

Provenance
Acquired by the present owner's late husband while serving in Egypt in the 1940s.
