Showing a king with a mace facing a suppliant goddess, with a two line cuneiform inscription "Amurru, Son of heaven", 1 1/8 in. (2.9 cm.) high; another, haematite, with the goddess Ishtar, her foot raised on her lion, weapons at her shoulders, holding a mace and scimitar-sword, being approached by a worshipper holding an animal offering, followed by a suppliant goddess, a scorpion, dwarf and monkey in the field, a triple lightning fork as a terminal, 1 in. (2.5 cm.) high; another, rock crystal, with the sun-god Shamash holding his knife and foot raised on a mountain, being approached by a worshipper and a suppliant deity followed by an animal, a monkey and star in the field, 5/8 in. (1.6 cm.) high; another, haematite, with the sun-god Shamash, holding a knife and foot raised, being approached by a goddess leading a worshipper, a crescent, ball-and-staff and pot in the field, with inverted figure, 1 1/8 in. (2.6 cm.) high, all circa 1900-1600 B.C.; an Old Babylonian haematite cylinder seal with the frontally facing goddess Ishtar holding a mace, another frontally facing goddess with a diminutive figure between, a suppliant goddess facing a frontally facing goddess, another figure with approaching worshipper holding an animal offering, a lion, human heads, hedgehog and a lion-fish in the field, small edge chips, circa 1900-1700 B.C., 1 1/8 in. (2.6 cm.) high; and an Akkadian green stone cylinder seal with two water-buffalo being attacked by two heroes each holding a mace, circa 2300-2200 B.C., 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) high (6)
