A BYZANTINE PALE BLUE GLASS HEXAGONAL JUG
CIRCA 6TH CENTURY A.D.
Two sides decorated with a palm frond, two with a vertical row of lozenges with concentric circles, and two with a net pattern, the tall cylindrical neck with trefoil lip, and applied handle; and another similar, with two sides decorated with a lozenge and concentric circle pattern, two with a net pattern, one with a palm frond and another with a honeycomb pattern, the tall cylindrical neck with thick applied circular trail, wide everted rim and inward-folded lip, with some iridescence, circa 6th Century A.D.
