Lot Essay

Little is known of the history of this machine; it is believed to have been supplied to a Scandinavian businessman for communication with the Third Reich. There are no visible official markings, and the presence of a 'Made in Germany' plaque in the lid suggests commercial use ouside Germany. The near-pristine condition of the interior indicates very little use.
