Note:
This poem is by the Tang poet, Zhang Shuo, and is well liked by the Emperor Kangxi. It is recorded in Siku Chuanshu - Qing Shengzu Kangxi Wangdi Yuxuan Tang shi (Selection of Tang poems by Emperor Kangxi), juan (volume) 26.
The scroll is mounted with yellow ground paper painted with two dragons around a flaming pearl, with the characters yu shu (Imperial writing), and surrounded by a border of yellow silk with the wan character pattern - all of which was used exclusively in Emperor's Kangxi's court.
