An Indo-Persian damascened travelling scribe's set
19th/20th Century
on three feet, fitted with an inkwell, penholder and a candlestick decorated with floral panels -- 8¼in. (20.9cm.) high; a brass magic bowl with flattened rim -- 7¼in. (18cm.) diam.; a further bowl with stylised calligraphic roundels within inset flowerhead shaped borders -- 5 7/8in. (14.8cm.) diam; and an Isfahan silver low comport with bird quatrefoil shaped cartouches within foliate motifs, swag border -- 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) diam., (old wear and damages).
