A Kashan turquoise glazed pear shaped pottery jug
Central Persia, 12th century
with narrow upwards pointing spout, incised to the upper body with a broad lobed band, a moulded rosette to the top of the handle, set on a short foot -- 9¼in. (23.5cms) high, (old wear and restoration).
