Persian manuscript on paper, 20ll. of black nasta'liq in four columns, gold margins and divisions between black rules, headings in red across two columns in ruled panels, illuminated heading at the start of each section, several illustrations (probably original but heavily repainted), bound in two parts in red morocco and in cloth binding, (some wear, folios misbound and some possibly lacking), colophon dated Saturday 23 Rabi II 894 - text 14.5 x 10.8cm., folio 20 x 14.5cm.; kitab al-'uhud al-kubri(?), Arabic manuscript on paper, 25ll. of black naskh, words and phrases in or overlined in red, dated Tuesday 10 Shawwal AH 1266/1849 AD, stamped red morocco binding printed paper covered doublures - 22.7 x 16.2cm.; and kitab al-shafafi fi huquq al-mustafi, 239ff. as numbered, 17ll. of black naskh, words in red and green, opening folio lacking, following folio with gold clouds, similar bifolio with illuminated heading panel in text, signed by Muhammad Sadiq al-Ardalani and dated AH 1195/1780 AD, brown morocco binding - 25.5 x 15cm.
