Iran, attributed to Behzad II, 20th century
gouache and bodycolour on paper, in the style of Muhammedi, the young man stands holding a pear to his mouth, carrying bow and arrows, sheild, sword and daggers, flowers issuing from his turban, black ruled border, mounted, attribution to Behzad (II) below, and inscription identifying the archer as Haroun al-Rashid - 18 x 11.6cm.
