Maker's mark of Pawel Fedorowitsch, St. Petersburg, mid 19th Century; also struck with assayer's mark of Eduard Fedorowitsch Brandenburg (1850-1866)
On circular domed foot, chased and embossed with foliage, knobbed stem, the everted pear-shaped silver-gilt body with two applied cartouches with an engraved coat-of-arms and a crest, two applied Roman emperor masks, the detachable domed silver-gilt cover with applied geometrical decoration and a finial
