Maker's mark MV in rectangular field; head of the goddess Diana, state mark for the years 1867-1922 with the letter A (Vienna) and the 3 silver mark, also marked with A control-mark of the Assay office of Vienna, circa 1873
The shaped shield decorated with raised stylised flowers, foliage, C-scrolls and chequered panels on stippled and matted ground, the Tablets of the Law inscribed in Hebrew, above oval raised medallion with Hebrew text below, flanked by two applied rampant lions with protruding tongues, supporting the Tablets and the applied Hebrew inscribed beaded crown above, fitted below with a compartment for shabbat and festival plaques, containing three double- inscribed plaques, on chain, with memorial inscription in Hebrew: everlasting memory, donated by Abraham Kermash for the synagogue of Buchach in memory of his wife...who died at 1872
