In the Louis XV Style, By Henry Dasson, Dated 1884
Of serpentine outline and bombé shape, decorated overall with foliate 'C'-scrolls and shells, the inset breccia d'Aleppo marble top above a cupboard door with central parquetry serpentine panel, the interior with three adjustable shelves, above a waved apron fitted as a drawer, on slightly splayed legs with foliate scrolling sabots, inscribed Henry Dasson 1884 to the right-hand side of the moulded edge and stamped and dated twice on the carcass at the back
