Of serpentine outline, with a brèche violette marble top, above a pair of drawers inlaid sans traverse within an ormolu border, the sides each with a shaped tulipwood panel centred by an inlaid mask, on square tapering scrolled legs, with pied de beiche sabots, the carcass stamped P.BERNARD, EBENISTE with a fleur-de-lys
