Each decorated in a pastel palette with figures in eighteenth century interiors, one with a lady seated, attended by a maid and a couple announcing their nuptials, the other with a group seated around a table and turning to greet a man entering the room, a small white dog in the foreground, the reverse each with figures and buildings in extensive wooded and Arcadian lamdscapes, enclosed within a ciselé gilt oval cartouche outlined with elaborate gilt foliate scrolls, the flared necks, domed covers and stems similarly enriched, the shoulders with a pair of female caryatid handles, on shaped square bases cast with laurel wreaths, with imitation blue interlaced L marks and iron-red Château des Tuileries marks and imitation red script Offert par le Duc de Richlieu à la Princesse de Lamballe, one vase restored at stem
