Lot Essay

Constance, Lady Wenlock, daughter of the 4th Earl of Harewood, married the 3rd Baron Wenlock of Escrick Park, Yorkshire. She travelled widely visiting Egypt and India and Italy. She is known to have painted in Florence, where she stayed with her niece at the Villa Medici, Fiesole.
