A Viennese-style porcelain vase, cover and stand

Decorated overall with applied gilt foliage on a dark-blue ground, the dome-shaped cover on a concave neck, above the urn-shaped body decorated on one side with a depiction of the Sacrifice of Iphigenia, and on the other, with Hercules at the cross-roads, the flared foot on a circular stepped base and a square plinth, above a concave-sided square stand decorated with further mythological scenes, the vase and stand with beehive mark, the vase inscribed to its underside Die Opferung der Iphigenia/Hercules am Scheidewege
Overall: 24 in. (61 cm.) high; the stand: 8¼ in. (21 cm.) square
