A rare Steiff 'Coloro' clown doll
with felt face, black boot button eyes, mohair hair, traces of painted features, felt hands, cloth jointed body, dressed in printed velvet suit featuring teddy bear, velvet hat and large leather clown shoes with spats, button in ear --16in. (40.5cm.) high, circa 1910 (hole to chin and forehead, loose of hair, hand replaced, hole to one spat and faded)
