A rare Schuco elephant on wheels
with grey mohair, yes/no rotating head mechanism operated by reins attached to head and tail, leather tusks, pink felt mouth and stitched toes, on metal frame with metal 'Shuco - Patent' wheels --15½in. (39.5cm.) long, circa 1922 (back and head very worn, blanket and eyes replaced, other repairs and damages); and a Steiff lion cub with swivel head and jointed limbs --7¾in. (20cm.) long (very worn and missing one eye)
