Album of approximately 120 albumen prints and 4 pencil drawings. Varying sizes from 3 x 2 1/8 in. (7.6 x 5.3 cm.) to 16¼ x 12½ in. (41.2 x 31.8 cm.) or the reverse. 1850s-1890s. 4 initialed J.V., one signed Leygue and some titled and numbered in the negative; 6 with blindstamp credit including C. Clifford and Frith Series and several with stamped title on the recto; several with date in pencil and title or descriptive labels affixed to the mount and one dated in pencil on the reverse of the mount, leather, gilt, g.e., folio.
Album size: 21¼ x 16½ in. (54 x 41.9 cm.)

A large album including three large studies from the Alhambra by Clifford, two large studies of the Baptistery Florence by Alinari, interior and exterior views of cathedrals, four good English views of ruins of abbeys, a large cathedral study by Leygue of Moissac, cityscapes and landscapes in Pompei, Florence, Turin, Rouen, Bordeaux and Nimes, and images of artworks and sculptures.
