A mid-19th Century hallmarked silver model of a lifeboat possibly by Robert Frost
with mast, wire rigging, fore and aft bouyancy chambers with hinged access hatches, lamp, cross boards, oars and rowlocks, aft benches and tiller. The hull with rudder, bilge keels and scored planking is loosely mounted on a wooden stand (later) -- 6 x 7½in. (15 x 19cm.)
