An electric-powered radio-controlled sailing model of the Royal Naval destroyer Pennant No. D60
originally built by Bassett-Lowke, with signal masts, anchors, winches, deck rails, companionways, main and anti-aircraft armament, superstructure with bridge, range finder, lockers, two stayed funnels, search light, torpedo tubes, aft depth charges in racks, 'K' guns and other details. The hull, carved from the solid, is fitted with 6v motor, Futuba radio control, single shaft with three-blade propeller, rudder and rechargable battery pack. Finished in grey with green decks (restored) -- 13 x 39in. (33 x 99cm.)
