A gold and turquoise vinaigrette
circa 1840, probably French, unmarked
Book-form, the cover and spine engraved with scrolls and flowers and inset with lozenges, triangles and bands of cabochon turquoises, the grille pierced with foliate scrolls with rope-twist border, with suspension ring and chased-foliage loop
1 3/8 in. (35 mm.) long
