An enamelled and citrine-set vinaigrette and table seal

The tapering cylindrical baluster shaped table seal enamelled to simulate lapis lazuli, the domed cover opening in two sections, the first probably for a watch, the second with foliate scroll grille, the base set with a faceted citrine, and applied with acanthus and scrolls and a border of cherubs' masks, the body with vertical gold ribs and borders of anthemion and paterae, a coiled serpent encircling the body, with jewelled eyes and clasping a baroque pearl
