A Swiss gold, enamelled and pearl-set vinaigrette
Geneva, circa 1810, maker's mark indistinct but probably that of Moulinié, Bautte & Co., also marked 18K incuse
Shaped oval, the cover with an enamelled plaque of a sheep lying in a bed of forget-me-nots, with baroque pearl front, the border set with pearls, the base enamelled in blue with white, gold and black borders, the sides enamelled in black and white, with pale blue rosettes, with geometric diaperwork grille, marked inside base and on underside of grille, with later French control marks
