Details
A fine and well proportioned Gauge 1 spirit-fired four-cylinder model of the French Nord 4-6-2 (231) Chapelon's Nord Locomotive No. 31192 and four-axle Bogie Tender No. 38040 of 1936, now preserved in the French Railway Museum at Mulhouse
built by Aster for Fulgurex 1989, stamped B004 under the footplate, fitted three-wick spirit lamp, internally-fired boiler, twin safety valves, sight glass, pressure gauge, regulator, blower and screw reverse, the chassis fitted with four double-acting cylinders, axle-driven pump, six sprung driving wheels, hinged coupling rods and brake gear. Other details include dummy speedometer, pumps, pipework, route indicator and rivet work, the tender fitted with fuel and water tanks, needle valve control and hand pump, finished in Nord chocolate brown -- 29½in. (75cm.), in original box, packing and instruction manuals
