Details
A fine and detailed Gauge 1 spirit-fired steam model of the German DR 4-6-2 (2-C-1) 01 locomotive and four-axle bogie tender 02.132
built by Aster for Fulgurex, label stamped Aster Hobby 160/300 03, internally fired boiler with three-wick burner, twin safety valves, cab sight glass, pressure gauge, regulator, blower and screw reverse to Keusinger, valve gear, twin double-acting cylinders, leaf-sprung driving wheels, hinged coupling rods and axle-driven pump, the tender fully sprung and fitted with spirit and water tanks and hand pump. General details include sprung buffers, dummy pumps, steps, hand rails and fine rivet work, finished in D.R. matt black and red -- 30in. (76cm.) long, in wooden case.
