Each with a rectangular white marble top, over a pair of glazed doors within a leaf-tipped surround, enclosing two later shelves, flanked by fluted canted angles, over stop-fluted pilasters set with flowering urn mounts, on round tapering legs and brass caps

Lot Essay

The same distinctive flaming-urn mounts applied onto fluted canted angles are also seen on the pair of Louis XVI secretaires mounted with Sèvres porcelain plaques formerly in the collections of Jean Charlotte de Rothschild, Baronne Leonino and René Fribourg, sold anonymously at Christie's New York, 27 May 1999, lot 340.
