A SOUTH GERMAN WALNUT AND MARQUETRY KAS
Late 17th century/early 18th century
With pierced foliate cresting centered by an inlaid coat of arms, the projecting eared moulded cornice and tablet applied frieze decorated with lions above a pair of geometrically panelled doors, inlaid with birds and floral marquetry, enclosing four shelves, between oversized composite capped barley-twist columns on bold volutes and raised on a deep base with bun feet
