A LOUIS XV/XVI TRANSITIONAL GREY-PAINTED TRUMEAU MIRROR
Circa 1770
Of rectangular shape, the two-part mirror plate within a shaped molded surround, decorated with wrapped flowers, the base carved with a shell and bell flower swag, surmounted by a scrolling border and a flowering basket with ribbon-tied floral swag, originally fitted into panelling and now with later slips to the sides
