The octagonal top with central mother-of-pearl circle within a radiating geometric surround hung with trailing branches and grape bunches, the outside border of top set with armorial shields to the corners, the ebonized blind Gothic tracery frieze with four short drawers, upon a faceted Gothic arched columnar stem above an octagonal similarly inlaid spreading base with short arched bracket feet, inscribed in white chalk 228887, with two red wax armorial seal imprints
